We generally follow SISD's School Calendar for closing.
If you attend a school district outside of SISD, please let us know if your child will be missing class.

• August 3rd: Open House! / Vale Club Solo Interest Meeting

• August 18th: First Day of Classes!

• September 1st: CLOSED for Labor Day

• September 15th: OPEN during student holiday

• September 15th-19th: SUNNY WEEK & Bring a Friend to Class Week

• October 1st: A Very Vale Christmas Show & Sparkle Party Fees Due

• October 9th-13th: CLOSED for Fall Break

• October 27th-29th: Halloween Dance Bash

• October 30th, 31st, 1st: CLOSED for Halloween

• November 3rd-8th: SUNNY WEEK

• November 15th: Recital Fees Due (or at time of registration if after)

• November 22nd-30th: CLOSED for Thanksgiving Break

• December 1st: OPEN during student holiday

• December 13th and/or 14th (TBD): Mid-Season Show & Holiday Parties

• December 15th-January 11th: CLOSED for WINTER HOLIDAYS

• January 8th: Deadline for letting us know if your child is NOT participating in recital

• January 12th-17th: SUNNY WEEK

• January 15th: Recital Costume Fees Due (1st installment)

• January 19th: CLOSED for MLK Jr. Day

• February 13th-16th: CLOSED for SISD Holiday

• February 23rd-February 28th: SUNNY WEEK

• March 1st: Recital Costume Fees Due (2nd installment)

• March 14th-22nd: NO CLASSES for SPRING BREAK

• April 3rd: CLOSED for SISD HOLIDAY

• April 6th-11th: SUNNY WEEK

• May 1st: OPEN for student holiday

• Dress Rehearsal Date/Pictures Days: Either April 24-26th or May 1st-3rd

• Banquet Date: May 17th, 2025

• Recital Parent Meetings: March 25th, March 29th, & April 1st

• Extra Recital Rehearsal: TBD

• Last Day of Dance Class: TBD Pending Recital Date
